Unique Education

International Youth Retreat offers unique educational programs including the following: Formal English Language classes delivered through 15 hours/week instructions. All Instructors are qualified in their areas of specialty Skills covered: grammar, reading, writing, listening and speaking. Immersive English and American culture learning experience by allowing participants to interact with American youth throughout their stay at the Retreat. Amazing Recreation

Everyday will bring participant new recreational activities. Activities include archery, horseback riding, zipline, ropes course, paintball, bubble soccer, archery tag, football (soccer), basketball, nature trail hiking, and much more!

Life-Long Inspiration

Youth will gain leadership skills that enhance their personal and professional potential and prepare them to become resilient leaders in their organizations and communities. These skills include: time management, productivity, interpersonal communication, team building, collaboration, work ethics, professionalism, and survival skills. Participants will enjoy a set of field trips to several sites and important institutions. Here is a list of sites that participants will visit. (the list is subject to adjustment based on the group's dynamic, weather, and logistical considerations): Downtown Dallas, Downtown Fort Worth, Dallas Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, Reunion Tower GeO-Deck, Dallas Zoo, SMU Campus- College admission seminar, NASA's Space Center Houston (spacecenter.org), Kemah Boardwalk (kemahboardwalk.com)

Most frequent questions and answers

To impact youths’ lives through an immersive American experience and to become the premier international youth retreat destination by providing unique educational, recreational, and inspirational activities and experiences.

Youth grades 6 to grade 12 (12-18 years old) can apply to participate in the Retreat.

For youth under the age of 15, participant needs a chaperon, or a parent. This can be substituted with a $500 mentor fee if a parent is unable to accompany their minor. 

 

Yes, we pride ourselves to be accommodating to different cultural, religious, and personal preferences. Our food selection, dress code, code of conduct, and our activities are designed with different cultures and religious background in mind. 

 

Groups of 15+ participants will have the following: 

  • 5% discount off participants’ registration fee 
  • Customized program that meets the specific needs of the group
  • Additional dates that could better meet the needs of the group.

The cost of the retreat is $3,500 per person. We offer a 10% discount for siblings. 
Fee covers lodging, main daily meals, program supplies, activities, and local transportation. The fee does NOT include visa fees or airfare to the US. 

Ascend will issue invitation letters that can be used to help getting visas. 
Participants are responsible for getting their own visas.  Please contact us if you have any questions about visas.
