"This is a wonderful camp that is open year-round. They have a beautiful riding trail and a certified horse trainer on full-time staff that provides riding lessons. There is a small petting zoo of sorts. All the animals look very happy and well cared for. The place is well maintained and clean. It's a little piece of paradise hidden in Dallas. The staff is friendly and professional. Great spot for people of any age."

"Ascend Camp and Retreat Center was the best place for me and my family to have fun over winter break! I was amazed by the faculty and the safety the camp provided. The food tasted amazing and I enjoy hiking in the forest. This camp has the best challenge course and horse back riding facility. This truly is the best camp I have been to and I am defiantly looking forward to bring all my friends and family to come! It also had a great trail that I enjoyed in the mornings and the camp has overall great beauty. It is very well taken care of."

They got to do so much there from ziplining, horseback riding, putt-putt, paintballing, swimming, archery and the list goes on and on! I highly recommend this place for family fun and adventure!
